🦨 Fallout 4 Saves Not Showing Up

1. In anything even remotely based on something Bethesda may or may not have touched at one point never never NEVER rely on quick saves. If you have an amount of saves in the single digits you have too few. Secondly yeah I actually just had this problem literally thirty minutes ago just back out of the load menu and reopen it and you should be The files are in my save data on my ps4. I did transfer all my data from my old ps4 to my new pro a few months back but if I had no issue with other saved data. I've tried starting a new game and loading it then but the save files dont show up, the only one there is the auto save from this new playthrough! Copy your saves to memory stick every time you lev up, so you've always got a current save to put on other device. Insert memory stick in other device, copy the save folder and paste it in documents. You gotta rename the old save folder first of course, or delete it. that sounds extremely complicated and tedious. #5. Very odd - when i look at the saves in the save game folder using windows explorer, none of the saves for the last month have a file with the .fos extension, I just have a bunch of tiny files with the correct save game names but a .4se file extension and each is just 4k - I am using a Vortex modded f4 install on Win 10 and up until now all has worked perfectly. Not installed any new mods Upon starting up Fallout 4 today I had went to the main menu to find my only option was New Game. I was confused and started looking for help online to find that no one seems to have this problem. I know where my game saves are suppose to be located but the problem is, it's completely empty. I can roll back to the 13th but that only has my autosave from the 13th which is the day I started. Im That's not an issue, it's the same for everybody, that's the default location the game uses and I don't think you can change it Either go back and manually delete outdated saves or disable synchronization for the game entirely. Yes Fallout 4 Saves get with the time ridiculus big and depeding how many saves you made it can take some Time, i usualy get 3-5 Spikes around 1 MB/s if your conection speed with steam is bad that can take some while.. Move them to another folder and make sure the save you want is the one that's left. Then you can delete them. I have a bunch of folders with saves from my various characters. Try to recover your Fallout 4 deleted saves files from it by following the steps here. 1. Go to the Windows Start menu, and open the Control Panel page. 2. Click on System and Security > Backup and Restore (Windows 7). 3. Press the Restore my files button under the Restore tab. Hi I copied some 2015 hard copy Fallout 4 Saves from my USB and tried to load them on my digital Fallout 4 copy. They are not showing up on the save list at all on the game. I imagine the many patches and DLCs have made the saves incompatible. Thanks. Go to Documents/my games/Fallout4/saves. Here you can see all your save files. If you have multiple chracters, do a save on the character which you want to rescue from this issue. Now, you find the save file created at the time when you saved the game. The save file name consists of few parts. Go to the "Clean" menu and select "Show Unattached Instances". This will filter the list and show only the script instances that aren't attached to anything. Go to the "Clean" menu and select "Remove Unattached Instances". Save to a new file. Load your savefile in Skyrim/Fallout and make sure it's working properly. Step 5. Right click "Fallout 4" in your game library list within the Steam client, and click properties at the bottom. Step 6. Click "Local Files" tab at the top, and then click the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" option on that window. Wait until it finishes checking your game files, and BOOM, you have a fresh install of Fallout 4. The game will be fine for about 10 minutes and then this will happen. I'm not in survival mode. It wont let me save using the in-game console commands (It will just say a prompt at the top left that is cannot save at this time) All threads I looked up said it's because the game is saving. It's so frustrating being an hour in and losing so much Though it did happen without mods as well.) In Fo4 I believe the autosaves work in different way somehow, which removed the issues caused by that, but even then Bethesda removed the old system where it cycled through saves. (Which is a bit weird in my opinion). I'm not exactly sure how autosaves work on consoles. InzpmM.
